Website terms
What the prices on this site mean, what the warranty covers, and why nothing here is a diagnosis of your particular problem.

About the prices
Every price band published on this site is indicative. It is there so you can work out roughly where your job sits before you ring, which is more than a page saying "competitive rates" will ever do for you.
It is not a quote. The fixed price we give you on site, after we have looked at the actual fault, is the one that binds — and it binds in both directions: it is what you pay, and if a part we allowed for turns out not to be needed, it comes off.
Prices shown include GST and are current as at the date on this page. They change occasionally, mostly when a manufacturer's price changes.
This is general information, not a diagnosis
The service pages describe what a fault usually turns out to be in houses like yours. Yours may be the exception, and no website can tell the difference.
Plumbing and gas fitting are licensed trades in Western Australia for good reasons. Do not attempt gas work, hot water unit installation or drainage alterations yourself — beyond the fact that it is unlawful, uncertified gas work is the sort of thing that voids an insurance policy at the worst possible moment.
Turning your water off at the meter and turning a gas appliance off at its isolation valve are the two things we will actively encourage you to do yourself, because they stop damage while we drive.
The workmanship warranty
Twelve months on our workmanship, written on your invoice. If a joint we made or a unit we installed fails within that year because of how it was done, we come back, and it costs you nothing — including after hours.
It does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by someone else's later work, blockages caused by what has been put down the drain since, or a failure in a fixture you supplied yourself.
Manufacturer warranties on units and appliances are separate, usually longer, and are held with the manufacturer. We register them in your name at installation and give you the paperwork.
None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply regardless of what any business writes on a website.
Response times
The response times on this site are what we typically achieve in the twelve suburbs listed, not a contractual guarantee. Weather, traffic and the queue in front of you all exist.
What we do guarantee is that you will be told a realistic time on the phone rather than a four-hour window, and that you will get a text if it slips.
Bookings and cancellations
Booked work can be cancelled or moved up to the day before at no cost. A same-day cancellation after we have set out may attract the attendance fee, and we will always ring before charging it rather than sending a surprise.
For emergency attendance, the fee is quoted on the phone before we leave. If we cannot fix the fault, you are not charged for the attempt, including the drive.
Reviews and figures on this site
Ratings, review counts and job records shown on this site are demonstration content. See the note in the footer.

We take some care to keep the information here accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of error, and we are not liable for anything that follows from relying on general information rather than ringing us and asking.
